Quiberon peninsula

This unmissable place of Morbihan has two different faces for the one who wants to discover it. The peninsula offers sandy beach of 14 km (8.6 miles) long. You can enjoy the caress of the sun on your skin and breathe the delicate smell of the sea spray. This coast part is really valued by the holidaymakers but also by surfers who comes here to develop their surfing skills.

The second face of the Quiberon Peninsula is its famous “côte sauvage” (litterally wild coast). It might be the waves breaking into the brown rocks and cliffs that are at the origin “wild” qualification. Having a walk close to the cliffs will permit you to observe an untouched nature. 700 different species of plants like the rare wild orchidea or the discreet violet are lining the cliffs’ borders.

Morbihan Bay

One of the most beautiful bay of the world, Morbihan Bay is a real bridge between earth and sea. It represents 11 500 HA and is composed of almost 40 islands. Among the most famous islands there is of course Belle-Île-En-Mer and l’Île aux Moines which you will find in another article. the 180km of coast will permit you to enjoy splendid landscapes while staying dry. You also have the possibility to visit the bay by boat. its departure is in Locmariaquer’s port ( you will find more information on this website)

The Ty-Bihan Beach

This wonderfull beach is located in Carnac. Its crystal-clear water and its fine sand, one could almost believe to be in tropics or in Corsica ! The beach is 400m long (1 yard), which is a nice walk. Moreover, during summer, a kid club settles here and proposes activities.
